Data Vault Update

Finally after lots of users winning and crying out loud, we decided to fix the archive upload issue. It wasn't really an issue, however, here's what happened.

The "Archive Uploader" module worked fine, but while uploading one did not receive any feedback, if the file was being uploaded, until it was done.
Now, thanks to a quick iframe and ajax mod, you can enjoy an animation while the file is being sent to your account.

Of course, you will be prompted when the process is complete!

Enjoy!

Admin ;)

New Email Restrictions

It has come to our attention that lots of users take advantage of our generous and flexible e-mail services to share files.
Again, e-mail is not intended to share files, especially large files. It's not designed to cope with high volumes of data as some of you would like it to be.
Please use the data vault service to share large files such as high resolution pictures, videos, and documents.

As of today, e-mail is being restricted to 2Mb per message. Any attachments that exceed that size will automatically be rejected.

Thank you for your understanding, but that is the only way we could run a fast, reliable and robust e-mail system.

Admin

Security Certificate for Etonic Networks

As you already know, we are very concerned with your data security and safety. Therefore, we had implemented SSL certificates to prevent anyone from eves dropping on your e-mails or data vault activity.

We decided to self-sign our own certificates, therefore not all Internet Browsers understand them correctly.
We always suggest you use Firefox to access our websites for better performance, and security.
If you are up to date and run Firefox Version 3 or better, we have a solution for you.
Every time we change our SSL certificate you will be prompted to accept the new security certificate; and we know it's annoying.
You can prevent that from ever happening by simply installing this Firefox Plugin and it'll take care of all the issues from now on.
Get it here.;)
